When building cabinets or trailer doors, loose panel joints can shift or leave visible gaps. This smooth H-channel frame joins panel edges securely while covering the seam for a finished connection.
If you're repairing a cabinet, replacing a panel section, or building from scratch, getting the right fit is critical. This H-frame channel is not trailer-specific. To get the right fit, you'll need to match it to your existing trim by measurement. If you're replacing a section, measure your current trim or panel setup and compare:
The fit depends on both the channel opening and the panel thickness. Even small differences can prevent panels from seating properly or staying securely in place. If you're not sure, take a few measurements and photos of your current setup and reach out to etrailer support for help comparing options.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our P&F Products H-Channel Frame for enclosed trailers and aluminum. So folks, this will be great for building cabinets and doors. The H frame channel is ideal for fabricating cabinets and doors in that enclosed trailer. And as you can see, again, it's a hat channel design, making that H from the side.
And this is a smooth, it's smooth on all three sides, giving you a clean finished look. And again, it's aluminum, so it's rust proof, super lightweight, yet very, very durable. And there you can see that letter H or maybe even a little chair, if you will. So again, great for building cabinets and doors, 93 1/2 inches long. Overall, it's two inches tall on the tallest parts, and it's about 1 1/8 inches thick or 1 1/8 inches tall on that shorter part of the H itself.
Maybe right here in the US. Again, cut it to length. It's aluminum. You don't have to worry about corrosion and rust. This is the P&F Products H-Channel.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Not what is described. Says it will fit 1 1/8 and not even close. Fits 1” tightly.
